Aditya has this recurring dream of killing his wife. To help him escape this nightmare, his friends introduce him to DreamShare, an app which allows users to relive and share their memories. But in the darkness of his subconscious, the shadows of the memories he thought he had buried forever tumble into the light.
‘SHADOWS IN THE DARKNESS’ is a tale of memories and relationships, sex and violence, love and hurt, past and present, all coming together in a world of dreams. The book journeys through the reflections of the past and the struggles of the present, as Aditya wanders through the world of DreamShare, all in the hope of escaping his recurring nightmare of killing his wife.
At first, the app is a blessing, an alternate reality in which he can access his memories and join others in theirs. But a chance encounter with Aesha changes his perception of himself, and soon they begin to open up to one another about the horrors of their pasts.

Shadows in the darkness by Manoj Bhavnani is a story about a guy called Aditya who has recurring dreams of killing his wife. To help Aditya from these dreams, his friends Rajiv and Sameer introduced him to an app called Dream share. It allows users to relive their memories and share those memories with others while sleeping.
The story of this book is quite intriguing also I found the concept of dream share app fascinating. All the characters in the book are the well developed and back story of each character is explained in a well-elaborated manner. The book is filled with memories of the past, complicated relationships, sex, violence, love and dreams. The twist played at the end of the book is mind-blowing.
Things I didn’t like about this book are over-elaboration of some scenes and extra emphasis given on the side characters. Also, the cover of the book could have been more attractive.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Twists and turns involved are quite interesting. The story is a perfect fit for a movie or a web series.
