My Review:
As I’m a big fan of Indian mythology and Ramayana is one of favorite mythological story, I picked up this book to read. I was hearing and watching stories of Ramayana since my childhood and I always felt that It’s too simple. There are many untold secrets which were never allowed to come out. This book is Rama’s story, revealing the secrets of Ramayana, making some astounding revelations.
Cover of the book is apt and gives mythological vibes. The book is a page-turner and gives a new perspective to look into Ramayana. The author doesn’t have missed any part of Ramayana and given a logical explanation about everything. Initial chapters about ancestors of Rama and Ravana were new to me. I liked that the author had tried to give an overview of what happened in Kosala and Lanka before Rama and Ravana. Narration is fast-paced but it’s the need for the story. Language is simple and easy to understand. Book is short and can be finished in one or two sittings.
It was really an amazing read. If you are a mythology fan don’t miss to read this one.
